WHY

LUDDITE

Then?

The Industrial Revolution, 1811:

Led by the mythical general Ned Ludd, the Luddite movement raged against the machine(s), destroying the equipment that threatened to make their craft obsolete.

History repeats itself today, as human creativity is endangered by the advent of AI. This time the machines are touted as a worthy replacement for human ingenuity, inspiration and imagination.

WHAT’s

THE

PROBLEM?

AI (or LLMs) are incapable of original thought. They learn, they copy, they recycle.

No moments of inspiration in the shower, no solving a problem just as they’re falling asleep.

They produce what might look like ideas, and sometimes sound like ideas, but they’re missing the human touch - look more closely at what they produce and you can see it’s all a bit hollow.

Ask ChatGPT to tell you a joke and you’ll get the idea.

GET TO

THE

POINT.

LUDDITE. is born out of a mission to prove that human thinking can’t be replaced and should never be outsourced. It’s a stand based on principle, but the stats back it up too.

Be original, be interesting, be creative and reap the rewards.

We don’t condone a violent uprising this time around, but let’s make the machines do the admin and leave the fun stuff for those that understand it.

HOW CAN

WE HELP?

LET’s TALK

We work with brands that want to stand for something, start-ups and people doing good things for good causes.

Most importantly, we like talking about ideas with interesting people.

If that fits the bill, get in touch and let’s chat.
